Sewing Machine Operators

As an established, family-owned manufacturing company in Cynthiana, IN., Pearison, Inc. is a leader in the Marching Band and Color Guard Uniform industry with customers worldwide. Our continued success has created additional positions in our Manufacturing Departments.

Position Summary

A Sewing Machine Operator would work predominantly within our Band Shoppe division, manufacturing uniforms, flags, and custom accessories. Working as a team or individually, you will learn to sew our garments from start to finish. Our sewing machine operators enjoy a clean, comfortable working environment and day shift scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain sewing machines to produce high-quality garments.
• Execute garment construction techniques, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work with team members to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Utilize warehouse experience to assist in inventory management and material handling as needed.

Requirements

• Prior sewing experience is ideal; however, we are willing to train an eager individual who can commit to our full-time position.
• Knowledge of garment construction techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, procedure manuals, and safety rules.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality standards.

STANDARD HOURS ARE MONDAY – FRIDAY, 7:00 AM TO 3:30 PM CST
SEASONAL OVERTIME IS REQUIRED FROM JULY TO OCTOBER
HOURS VARY FROM SEASON TO SEASON

NO SUNDAY SCHEDULING.
